Least Significant Difference (LSD)

This study aimed to explore demographic factors and SAP Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (SAP-ERP) modules that affected the acceptance of SAP-ERP in the organization and the acceptance level of SAP-ERP implementation. The sample group in this study was 120 employees who used SAP-ERP at the Bureau of Royal Thai Mint. Data were collected by questionnaires and were statistically analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, one-sample t-test, Independent t-test, one way ANOVA and least significant difference (LSD).

The results found that most of the users were female, 40-49 years old, Bachelor’s degree, 11-15 years of employment period, and work in the Production department, permanent employed status, and used computer daily. Production and Service modules were the most used of the SAP-ERP modules at the Bureau of Royal Thai Mint.

The analysis results found that the differences in employment period, working department, and position had difference in acceptance level of SAP-ERP in all aspects. The differences in ages had difference in acceptance level of SAP-ERP in all aspects except in the aspect of complication. The differences in gender, educational level, and computer usage experience had no difference in acceptance level of SAP-ERP. The differences in the usage of SAP-ERP modules had differences affecting the acceptance level of SAP-ERP in the aspects of the complication and the compatibility with the existing system. The users who used budgeting, accounting and financial modules had higher acceptance levels than those who used the other modules. The overall acceptance level of SAP-ERP was in the low level.
