Abstract

This research aimed to study the relationship of strategic factors that influenced firm performance of the rubber business in Thailand. The samples used in the research were rubber companies that operated in Thailand, which were divided into 75 primary data sets and 75 secondary data sets. The data analysis method of the research included analysis of descriptive statistical data and data analysis with multiple linear regression. The first part of the questionnaire was the business data. The second part was the business strategy. The third part of the questionnaire was firm performance. The questionnaires used a rating scale. The results were analyzed by mean, standard deviation (SD) and the relationship between business strategy variables and firm performance variables. The results of the business data analysis showed that most companies had a registered capital of not more than 50 million baht, total assets not exceeding 100 million baht, production capacity not exceeding 60,000 metric tons per year, and also had a fixed asset ratio of not more than 30.
