Factors influencing research engagement at Thailand institute of scientific and technological research

บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับความตั้งใจในการทางานวิจัย ระดับการรับรู้การสนับสนุนจากองค์การ ระดับความเข้าใจนโยบายไทยแลนด์ 4.0 ระดับความพอใจในงาน และปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อความตั้งใจในการทางานวิจัยของนักวิจัยในสถาบันวิจัยวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งประเทศไทย
กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัย คือ นักวิจัยในสถาบันวิจัยวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งประเทศไทย ตำแหน่ง ผู้เชี่ยวชาญวิจัย นักวิจัยอาวุโส นักวิจัย และนักทดลองวิทยาศาสตร์วิจัย จำนวน 150 คน โดยใช้แบบสอบถามที่ผ่านการตรวจสอบความเที่ยงและความตรง และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยโปรแกรมสำเร็จรูปทางสถิติ ประกอบด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนาในการหาค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติเชิงอนุมาน ด้วยการทดสอบการถดถอยอย่างง่าย และการถดถอยพหุคูณ เพื่อหาปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อความตั้งใจในการทำงานวิจัยของนักวิจัยในสถาบันวิจัยวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งประเทศไทย
ผลการวิจัย พบว่า นักวิจัยในสถาบันวิจัยวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งประเทศไทยส่วนใหญ่มีระดับความตั้งใจในการทางานวิจัย และระดับความพอใจในงานอยู่ในระดับมาก ระดับการรับรู้การสนับสนุนจากองค์การ และระดับความเข้าใจนโยบายไทยแลนด์ 4.0 อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง และพบว่า การรับรู้การสนับสนุนจากองค์การ และความพอใจในงานมีอิทธิพลเชิงบวกต่อความตั้งใจในการทางานวิจัยของนักวิจัยในสถาบันวิจัยวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งประเทศไทยอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ 0.05
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research was to study levels of research engagement, perceived organization support, understanding of the Thailand 4.0 policy and job satisfaction, as well as factors that influenced the research engagement of the researchers at Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR).
The sample used in this study was comprised of 150 TISTR researchers, including research experts, senior research officers, research officers, and assistant research officers. A reliable and valid questionnaire was used as the research tool. The collected datawereanalyzed byusing a computer program. Data analysis employed descriptive statistics including frequency, percentage, mean,andstandard deviation, and inferential statistics including simple linear regressionand multiple linear regression.
The results revealed that most of the researchers had a high level of research engagement and job satisfaction, whereas their perceived organization support and understanding of theThailand 4.0 policy were at a moderate level. In addition, the factors related to perceived organization supportand job satisfaction were found to positively influence the researchers on their research engagementat the 0.05 level of significance.
